one poem every day

the haiku man

Month: October, 2016

when you go to vote/

you will see a lot of words/

all of the best words

the trees in the east/

completely hidden by fog/

one bird thrashes home

butter on baguette/

black coffee in a black mug/

the grill cover, wet

the furnace kicks in/

rooibos tea in a blue mug/

raindrops pelt the deck

even after this/

we will all still live right here/

we are all neighbors

Monday night at home/

homework and snickerdoodles/

one hungry poodle

rain through morning sun/

birch leaves in green and yellow/

drum pads for the rain

speak the truth, with love/

let your yes be simply yes/

get a new toupee
